Theater aan de Rijn
Theaterwerkplaats ‘Generale Oost’ is Arnhem’s professional working space for up and coming choreographers and theatre makers, with an environment that allows dancers and choreographers, directors and actors to explore, discover, develop and put into practice their new artistic ideas and approaches to work. Various projects and collaborations take place throughout the year, each being shaped to the desire and needs of the individual theater and dance maker: artistic work created and performed both in the theatre and on location. Each project is supported artistically along with funding, production and publicity. Performances usually take place in our home theatre, Theater aan de Rijn, a small black box theatre in Arnhem that can seat 85 people.
